| Catholic worship in Riverstone began in 1882 in a weatherboard church on this site. The foundation stone of the present brick structure, designed by John Nangle, was laid by Cardinal Moran in 1904. The nave was completed in the first stage, the sacristy and sanctuary being completed later. |  |
