Riverstone – Police Station

The first posting of a policeman at Riverstone was in the 1880s and he was housed in a small timber building now located at the Australian Pioneer Village at Wilberforce. The present Police Station was opened in 1893. This was designed by the Government Architect, WL Vernon and built in 1892 for use as a Lockup Keeper’s Residence. It was converted for use as a Police Station in 1979. image
