A new school opened in 1890 on land donated by Walter Lamb and was known as Woodstock. In 1907 the school changed its name from Woodstock to Plumpton Public School. Renovations and painting were undertaken in the early 1920s in response to complaints about overcrowding and the deplorable state of the buildings. In 1928, work was done to improve lighting and ventilation including lowering of window sills. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
