Location
Milbrulong is a locality in the central east part of the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. The locality is 515 kilometres south west of the state capital, Sydney and 59 kilometres south west of the regional centre Wagga Wagga in the Lockhart Shire local government area. History
The place name Milbrulong is derived from the local Aboriginal word meaning “Rosella parrot”. Milbrulong Post Office opened on 7 August 1899 and closed in 1976. (wikipedia)
